About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced butcher to join our team at Sarajevo Grill and Meat Inc. as a Retail or Wholesale Butcher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Cut, prepare, and package standard cuts of meat
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Grind meats and make special sausages
  • Slice cooked meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Prepare special orders and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team
