Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Industrial Cleaning: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and sparkling environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Security and Safety: Work with minimal supervision and adhere to all security and safety protocols.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain a safe and accessible environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
