Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Security and Safety: Work with minimal supervision; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas; perform criminal record checks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
