Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BC LTD is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring effective time management and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
