About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Home Support team at Bella Coola General Hospital. As a Community Health Nurse, you will provide a full continuum of public health, prevention, and health promotion services to enhance the optimal health, well-being, and safety of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide public health, prevention, and health promotion services to clients in a variety of community-based settings.
- Identify and prioritize wellness needs and develop and maintain community partnerships to provide health promotion, advocacy, counseling, education, assessment, referral, and intervention.
- Work independently and interdependently to make sound nursing practice decisions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Training in public health nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
