Job Title: General Manager - Transportation and Communications

Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - Transportation and Communications to join our team.

Job Summary:

The General Manager - Transportation and Communications will be responsible for leading the transportation and communications functions of the organization, ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and people. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement transportation and communications strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead and manage a team of transportation and communications professionals
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for transportation and communications functions
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a transportation or communications management role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
