Job Title: General Manager - Transportation and Communications

Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - Transportation and Communications to join our team.

Job Summary:

The General Manager - Transportation and Communications will be responsible for leading the transportation and communications functions of the organization, ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and people. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of transportation and communications strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization as needed.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal awareness skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
