Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the store is running smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and drive sales.
  • Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including effective merchandising, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise.
  • Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, reflecting the company's brand image and values.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
  • Culture and Development: Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee development.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a store manager in the retail industry.
  • Customer Focus: Passionate about customer service and able to act as a role model for your team.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales budgets while controlling expenses.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and able to connect with colleagues and customers.
  • Time Management: Expert at mastering time, tasks, and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving: A problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to maintain calm under pressure.
  • Leadership: Experience in hiring, onboarding, training, developing, coaching, and disciplining to dismissal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications, including First Aid, are an asset.
