About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Structured Finance and Innovation. As a key member of our Commercial & Private management sector, you will play a leading role in the strategic support of companies across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consulting services to clients, leveraging your expertise and experience to achieve their business objectives.
  • Develop and propose financial strategies based on an optimal combination of specialized financing products.
  • Participate in the development of sector-specific funding strategies and guidelines.
  • Support account managers and senior managers in the implementation of new financing files and monitoring of existing files.
  • Identify financial risks to the Bank and make recommendations to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Participate in the preparation of files, including analysis and establishment of financing structures for companies.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with funding and risk management policies and standards.
About the Team

You will be part of a large team of expert colleagues, reporting to the Director of Credit Risk Underwriting. Our team is known for its expertise in complex credit structuring and execution, and we work in a hybrid mode.

Requirements
  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 7 years of relevant experience OR completed Master's degree, related to the industry, and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in complex trade credit, acquisition loans, and knowledge of business products and services.
  • Experience analyzing complex financial models.
  • Experience in customer service, negotiation, and business development.
  • Ability to manage priorities and timelines.
  • Interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Knowledge of capital market debt instruments an asset.
  • Experience in syndicated financing an asset.
