Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations by performing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, financial data entry, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable: Process daily invoices and credit memos, apply cash receipts, and assist with collection of past due balances.
  • Financial Data Entry: Enter financial information into our accounting system, including journal entries and financial statements.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage vendor invoices, disbursement filing, and A/P invoice matching and filing.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Reconcile discrepancies, prepare correction documents, and code documents accurately.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other accounting tasks as needed and assist with special projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, proficiency in Bank Deposit and bank reconciliations, experience with journal entries and financial statement preparation, and in-depth knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
