About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at A SQUARE ACCOUNTING. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, as well as Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanners and other office equipment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, team player, and excellent time management skills.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
