Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

U V CONN INC. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Provide customer service.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
