We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Parts Salesperson to join our team at Velocity Truck Centres Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting, selling, and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship approach.
Key Responsibilities- Cold call new prospects to introduce our products and services
- Revisit existing customers to ensure we are top of mind for their parts needs
- Visit designated territory to deliver products and maintain customer relationships
- Assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their needs
- Utilize computer systems to process parts and supplies, maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, make sales contracts, stock adjustments, and process credit requests
- Experience in sales or knowledge of the transportation industry
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to determine appropriate actions
- Customer service-focused with strong communication skills to service and maintain customer relationships, including customer concerns
- Proven results-driven attitude
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, or marketing is an asset
- Apprentice to Journeyman Parts Technician ticket is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
