Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure smooth operation and maximum productivity.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads, with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Reliability, accuracy, and efficiency, with a strong attention to detail.
