Vancouver Coastal Health is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse to take on the role of Patient Care Coordinator/Educator within the Labour and Delivery unit at qathet General Hospital. Become a vital part of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee patient care processes in a specialized clinical setting
- Facilitate optimal patient flow and accessibility
- Serve as a clinical expert, offering training and support to staff
- Design and assess educational programs rooted in adult learning methodologies
- Assist with administrative tasks and staff management
- Encourage educational and research endeavors
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
About the Role

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Registered Nurse with current BCCNM registration
- Specialty nursing certification along with three years of pertinent experience
- Experience in supervisory roles, teaching, and group facilitation
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
- Proficient in teaching and mentoring
- Understanding of evidence-based nursing practices
- Effective in problem-solving and conflict management
