Job Title: Plumber, Maintenance and Repair

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber, Maintenance and Repair professional to join our team at Nicola Plumbing & Heating Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and maintenance, with experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size

Requirements

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing and maintenance
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
