Job Title: Plumber, Maintenance and Repair

Nicola Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumber, Maintenance and Repair professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plumber, Maintenance and Repair professional to perform a variety of tasks related to plumbing and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial and residential settings. The work environment will be wet/damp, and the candidate must be able to work under pressure.
