The Registered Nurse works across various clinical environments and is accountable for the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse guarantees the provision of client-centered care by supporting individual patients and their families in adapting to evolving healthcare needs.
This role requires a specialized knowledge base, with practice grounded in nursing science as well as relevant insights from other scientific and humanistic disciplines.

Qualifications:
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Current CPR certification.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience in an acute surgical or critical care environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Assessment and Intervention – Proven ability to conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and deliver nursing care through appropriate interventions.
- Communication – Effective communication skills with patients, families, the public, medical staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Critical Thinking – Ability to analyze and evaluate relevant data to solve problems effectively.
- Human Caring and Relationship-Centered Practice – Commitment to promoting patient-focused care that respects diverse cultures and preferences.
