Stubbe's is a family-owned business that requires a skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee its financial health. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete month-end procedures and reconciliations for inventory, deferred revenue, accruals, overhead, etc. in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Review financial results of individual companies monthly.
  • Analyze development projects from a financial perspective.
  • Analyze specific job results by revenue type, ensuring we reach our target margins.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Assist the Controller with year-end financial reports where necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other departments and team members.
