GOLDMINES CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a skilled Finisher, Concrete to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finisher, Concrete to work on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, working at heights, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure durability.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
