Job Summary
This Sales Representative role at Lennox International is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the energy-efficient climate-control solutions industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling products, services, and supplies to selected customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Close sales on assigned products, or generate leads for outside sales staff.
- Pro-actively sell to installed-base in support of company promotion and upgrade campaigns.
- Collaborate with and support field sales.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
You will also need strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time. Some knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services is also required, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Additionally, you will need to know some principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective written and verbal communication skills are also essential, as well as basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
