Job Description: Automation Developer

The Group Disability Business Enablement Team is seeking a talented Automation Developer to play a key role in implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and web-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with business partners, analysts, and consultants to deliver efficient and effective automation solutions.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes and assess their feasibility.
  • Analyze and document intricate business processes to ensure accurate automation design.
  • Design, develop, and configure robust automation solutions using industry-leading RPA tools.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions, ensuring clarity and maintainability.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing automation processes and implement necessary changes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues within automation workflows to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaborate effectively in an Agile environment, communicating risks and progress transparently.
  • Develop comprehensive test procedures and scenarios to validate the functionality of automation solutions.
  • Support operational teams during the deployment and implementation phases of new automation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Automation Development.
  • Programming/coding certification in Automation Anywhere or a comparable RPA platform.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, React, and Redux frameworks for web-based development.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Familiarity with insurance or banking industry processes is highly desirable.
