About the Role
As a Youth Support Caseworker at our Drop-In Centre, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate support and guidance to young people experiencing homelessness. You'll be dedicated to empowering them with resources and connections to help them navigate challenges and build brighter futures.
Your Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with youth, actively listening to their needs and concerns.
- Connect individuals with essential services such as housing, healthcare, and mental health support.
- Provide guidance and advocacy to help youth access community resources and navigate complex systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop individualized support plans for each young person.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress.
Our Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for working with youth. You possess strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. A background in social work or a related field is preferred.
