About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that our store is always well-stocked and clean.
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
  • Market Research: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and to identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Price and Credits Policies: Implement price and credits policies, ensuring that they are fair and competitive.
  • Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, ensuring that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
