Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college program or equivalent non-university diploma, typically lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
The position is based in a plastic products manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel operating machinery and fabricating plastic components.
- Develop strategies to meet production schedules and collaborate with other departments.
- Advise on staffing decisions, including hiring and promotions.
- Compile and present production reports and performance metrics.
- Propose initiatives to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
- Set up and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
- Manage the requisition of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Engage in repetitive tasks and physically demanding activities.
- Maintain attention to detail while performing various tasks.
- Balance between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
