We require a Production Supervisor to oversee one of our production shifts.

The role reports directly to the Operations Manager, rotates through three eight (8) hour shifts 7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; and 11pm-7am on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities include:

- Supervise and organize a team of 6-8 production staff
- Assure safe operation of the plant
- Champion the OHS program on the shift
- Continuous improvement (CI) through implementation of methods to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
- Assist with the development and implementation of various training, safety and quality programs
- Assure good labor relations and team development
- Enter and approve employee time/payroll as required
- Daily reporting of operating performance, job tracking, labor and material issuance
- Performing daily quality, PPE and GMP audits
- Assisting Operations Manager or designate as required

Qualifications:

- Must possess a grade 12 completion certificate. Post secondary education, preferably in a mechanical/industrial technology, operations management or related field would be an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of Supervisory experience
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have a strong commitment to health and safety
- Must possess effective troubleshooting skills
- Must possess competent computer skills
- Must have a desire to work in a team environment
