Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assume the role of Contract Representative on projects and programs with various infrastructure clients, ensuring commercial performance and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the department, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective project delivery and adherence to client schedules.
- Conduct regular department meetings, ensuring actions are delivered upon and team members are aligned with company goals.
- Develop and train team members to keep ahead of emerging trends and industry developments.
- Ensure the team's awareness and compliance with EGBC requirements and Ausenco's values.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Electrical Department Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years' experience in a leadership or management role with direct reports.
- Experience managing teams of 10-30 combined direct and indirect reports.
- Strategic thinking and business development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
