Your Role
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Plan, execute, and control major investment projects for the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center
- Manage costs and schedule to deliver projects to customer satisfaction
- Establish and understand internal customers' needs and priorities
- Maintain clear and effective communication at different hierarchical levels
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively
- Coordinate resources involved in project development and execution
- Enforce internal safety rules on sites
- Solve technical issues using a sustainable approach
- Contribute to team process improvement
Requirements
We're looking for a candidate with:
- A degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, construction) and/or technical
- Five to ten years of experience in managing large-scale projects in manufacturing
- Organizational skills, leadership abilities, and team mobilization
- Adoption of best practices in project management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet commitments
- Bilingualism and strong communication skills
- Negotiation skills and problem analysis and resolution
- Initiative, concern for a job well done, and customer satisfaction as a priority
