Job Description

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning of compute, storage, network, and security.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
  • Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security issues and respond to incidents or alerts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in an IT role.
  • Certification(s) in AWS cloud solution foundations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, network, and security.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development, including the use of microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
