Parts Coordinator

At Tesla, we're looking for a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our service operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional support.
What You'll Do:
- Source and allocate parts from distribution centers and other service locations to meet customer needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate updates to relevant team members.
- Review upcoming appointments and ensure accurate preparation and documentation.
- Process warranty part shipments, including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries.
- Receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts.
- Evaluate and escalate parts issues with internal and external suppliers.
- Pick up and transport parts using company vehicles or forklifts, engaging third-party services when necessary.
What You'll Bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and achieve common goals.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary state licenses.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, sitting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Specific vision abilities required for identifying parts, operating systems, and detecting potential safety hazards.
