Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GOLDEN HUSKY TRAVEL CENTRE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that they are fair, reasonable, and meet the needs of the restaurant.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

- Support for Youths: We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: We provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
