Food Service Team Lead

**Job Summary**
A&W Restaurants Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality, and leading a team of food service staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and adherence to procedures.
- Monitor and maintain records of sales, stock, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
- Train and develop food service staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and corporate brand expectations.
- Manage cash handling, opening, and closing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a positive and respectful work environment, fostering a collaborative team culture.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in food preparation and service, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Secondary school education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
