Job Summary

The AGS Automotive team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic organization. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and power tools, to move, load, and unload materials and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of our production facilities.

Requirements

  • One to two years of practical experience in a maintenance or production environment.
  • Ability to diagnose and remediate mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic problems.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production personnel and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions

  • Required to adhere to and comply with environmental, health, and safety rules and policies.
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (safety footwear, hearing protection, safety glasses) in appropriate areas.
