About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sam Rush-Hour Transp Ltd. as a Mechanical Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Fabrication and Estimation: Fabricate parts required for maintenance and repair, and estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Operational Support: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance operations.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road position that requires the ability to work in various locations and be willing to relocate as needed. The work term is 35 to 40 hours per week, and the work language is English.
