Cole International is seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team. As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of customs clearances for various types of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customs clearances for shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
  • Research and resolve customs-related issues, working with trade chain partners to affect validation and final accounting of customs entries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customs clearance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and laws, providing guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in customs clearance software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-related studies (CCS, CIFFA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the customs brokerage industry
  • Experience with customs clearance software and systems
