About the Role

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Client Information Officer - Career Services. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of programs and services throughout the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the delivery of programs and services through the provincial call center phone line and in-person interactions.
  • Interview clients to determine their needs and refer them to appropriate resources, including training and income support programs.
  • Plan, develop, facilitate, and deliver workshops and presentations to help clients develop their job search skills, prepare resumes, and improve interview techniques.
  • Enter client registrations and maintain accurate records using computer software programs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive work environment and support the team in achieving its goals.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary training in the social sciences or a related field.
  • Experience providing services that assist clients as they access training and employment programs, career resources, and job search information and resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software processing applications and operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
