ABOUT LABATT:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the procurement of goods and services within the Business Services & Technology sectors, managing an annual spend of C$100 million. This encompasses various categories including Fees, Leases & Rentals, Services, Travel, Office Utilities, and more.
- Manage all facets of Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) for procurement categories, including the development of one-year and three-year plans. Support ZBB routines by reporting on monthly financial closures, analyzing budget variances, forecasting expenditures, and participating in financial performance meetings.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to achieve savings targets and demonstrate effective cost management.
- Collaborate with regional and global procurement teams, serving as a key contact to leverage procurement initiatives that support local business objectives.
- Negotiate improved payment terms with suppliers, optimize inventory levels, and lead cash flow enhancement initiatives.
- Manage Supplier Relationship Management, including the onboarding of new suppliers and maintaining ongoing relationships through performance metrics and regular business reviews.
- Develop and execute category strategies that incorporate industry insights, create business cases for vendor consolidation, and align with corporate objectives.
- Advocate for AB InBev sourcing strategies, promoting the use of standardized procurement practices and the 8-step strategic sourcing methodology.
- Foster collaborative relationships between the Procurement team and key stakeholders across business units, promoting innovative and transformative ideas to achieve business goals.
- Oversee Labatt's contractual and business relationships with non-commercial indirect partners, working closely with operations and back-office teams.
- Explore innovative solutions to meet AB InBev's sustainability goals and commitments to achieving net-zero emissions by 2040.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A university degree is required, preferably in business, finance, or engineering.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a business setting is essential.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in accounting or budgeting preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, with familiarity in data analysis tools being advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Coupa, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills are required.
- Experience working with diverse customer groups and cross-functional teams is important.
- Proven ability to influence and motivate team members.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
