Job Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Patent Agent Trainee to join our dynamic Intellectual Property Group in Ottawa. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or molecular biology, and two years of patent agent training. They will be responsible for preparing patentability opinions, drafting and prosecuting patent applications within the bio/chemical group.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, and be able to apply their knowledge of biological and physical principles to a variety of scientific subject matter areas. They will be a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
