Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process customer prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Maintain patient and drug information files, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Check and verify pharmaceutical products prepared by other technicians or unregulated personnel, including specialized packaging.
- Administer vaccines and medications as permitted, and clarify prescriptions as needed.
- Price prescriptions, prepare receipts, and maintain inventory levels.
- Stock medications and related supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
- Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality, and provide excellent customer service.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification and maintained registration with the appropriate pharmacy licensing body.
- Certification for the administration of injections.
- High level of professionalism, knowledge of professional discipline, and technical specialties.
- Leadership and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Experience with HealthWatch is an asset.
