Job Title: Senior Specialist, Corporate Financial Performance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist to join our team in Corporate Financial Performance. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic and financial advice to facilitate sound decision making that supports corporate and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end salary and staff costs planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Lead the continuous evolvement and improvement of related policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Work in close partnership and collaboration with stakeholders throughout HR and FIN to provide insightful information relevant to optimizing the use of resources to meet Bank objectives.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the Bank's strategic plan, enabling effective corporate planning.

What You Will Do

You will design and maintain financial models in support of budgeting and forecasting, integrating business requirements into these models. You will also design, prepare, and oversee in-depth analysis, identify trends, patterns of staff costs, including salaries, benefits, and related expenses, to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership highlighting risks/opportunities.

Requirements

  • University degree in a related field with a recognized Canadian (or reciprocal) accounting designation (CPA, CA/CPA, CMA/CPA, CGA).
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in different accounting or financial roles, preferably FP&A.
  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language.
