Job Description

Job Summary:

Trilliant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Metering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support in metering and communication solutions across various functions, including meter shop-level services and customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in metering and communication solutions, including sales and customer support roles.
  • Assist with logistics and inventory provisioning, as well as services related to customer orders, projects, and material movements.
  • Manage business partner relationships for outsourced assembly of devices, serving as a key stakeholder and partner in Trilliant's supply chain.
  • Recommend new equipment and execute maintenance activities as required in the MeterShop, adhering to procedures governed by Measurement Canada and the company.
  • Develop and implement solutions for metering requests and communications, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with ongoing training and updating technical procedures and best practices, as per Measurement Canada and the company's requirements and policies.
  • Ensure a safe and productive workshop environment, adhering to Trilliant QMS policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in metering and communication solutions.
  • Excellent logistics, warehousing, and supply chain knowledge.
  • Expert knowledge of metering, devices, and communications utilized in advanced metering solutions, as well as other related equipment and accessories.
  • Expert knowledge of metering concepts and supporting communication technologies.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Metering solutions devices and assets.

Education/Certification:

  • Electrical engineer with a college diploma.
