About the Role:

As a Project Engineer at AirBoss of America Corp, you will play a critical role in managing and executing capital projects from concept to completion. This position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project scope of work and objectives, involving all relevant departments and personnel to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Manage complex capital projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and project scope.
  • Coordinate with internal resources, vendors, and contractors for seamless project execution.
  • Execute capital projects using project management methodology for plant operating improvements and change management tools.
  • Supervise field work performed by contractors and consultants.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for contractors and service providers.
  • Prepare capital packages with supporting documents, correspondences, comparisons, and cost-saving analysis.
  • Assist in developing operating plans and budgets, capital projects, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Update and maintain AutoCAD files related to plant equipment, power distribution, and projects.
  • Lead by example in adhering to plant Health & Safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, or automation.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, task assignment, and budgeting.
  • PMP or PEO designation is considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of implementing multi-disciplinary capital projects in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Travel required (20% within North America).
