Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers leave our restaurant satisfied.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, team player.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 35 to 40 hours per week.
