Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our adidas Retail Store team in Scarborough Town Centre. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the sales, profitability, and operational goals of the store by guiding and developing our hourly associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate hourly associates to achieve excellent customer service and maximize sales.
- Provide coaching and training to associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store procedures.
- Assist with staffing and labor cost control standards, and maintain a high level of sales floor presentation.
- Process sales transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including assisting with visual merchandising, inventory management, and store maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; three to six months of retail experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 12 kg and occasionally lift up to 34 kg.
