Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the growth and development of children.
    • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance
    • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
    • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
    • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records of children's progress and development.
    • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
    • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
    • Combine sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling in a typical workday.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Exhibit excellent written communication skills and flexibility in a team environment.
    • Be a reliable and team-oriented individual who is committed to providing high-quality care and education to children.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work 30 hours per week.
