About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ECE Assistant to join our team at Kinderheart Montessori Preschool Corp. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare programs and ensuring the well-being and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth and progress.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to implement programs and activities that support child development.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to encourage creativity and learning.
  • Assist in record-keeping and submitting written observations to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Own transportation
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Punctuality, dependability, and excellent communication skills
