We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Kinderheart Montessori Preschool Corp.

Job Summary:

The ECE Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans to support their growth.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical needs are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including equipment and supplies.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and activities that support children's development.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to encourage children's creativity and engagement.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and report to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Submit written observations and reports to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Own transportation
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Punctuality, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

The ECE Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced early childhood educators. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
