About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Seabase Newfoundland Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to drive business decisions and optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Direct and manage a team of financial professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Financial Policy and Procedure Development: Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's assets.
  • Financial Systems and Process Improvement: Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in financial management, planning, and analysis.
  • Skills: Strong financial planning and analysis skills, excellent leadership and team management skills, and ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 37.5 hour workweek. The work environment is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
