Blackbird Interactive is on the lookout for a skilled 3D Artist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on crafting and texturing level assets for a high-caliber Action Adventure Game. If you have a passion for designing realistic settings that enhance gaming experiences, this position is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop 3D models, shaders, and texture maps in alignment with concept art and design specifications.
- Collaborate with team leads to maintain consistency and excellence in asset production.
- Engage closely with level design and narrative teams to produce top-notch textured assets.
- Adjust work methods to fit project workflows and technical limitations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and integrate them into your work.
- Independently manage tasks following clear guidelines.
- Expertise in Maya.
- Experience with game art asset integration in contemporary game engines.
- Capability to create textures suitable for a PBR lighting model.
- Familiarity with Substance Painter/Designer.
- Demonstrated experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Interest in modern action-adventure gaming.
- Enthusiasm for various forms of entertainment media.
- Knowledge of Quixel Bridge and Mixer.
