Role Overview: The Logistics Associate plays a vital role in the efficient handling of products, ensuring they are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or warehouse safely and accurately. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized receiving area and warehouse, adhering to all health and safety standards. The role is physically demanding, involving lifting, carrying, and operating various technologies and machinery. Starting wage range: $18.75.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in enhancing the customer experience by:
    • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse for easy product access.
    • Delivering and assembling merchandise as needed.
  • Receive, scan, verify, and store all incoming and overstock products according to established guidelines.
  • Process returns and complete necessary documentation.
  • Manage waste disposal, cardboard recycling, and the disposal of damaged products in line with store policies.
  • Repair damaged packages as required.
  • Report any damaged goods to management.
  • Utilize computer systems and scanning tools to enter relevant data.
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, skyjack).
  • Certifications in forklift operation, power jacks, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer tasks (data entry, scanning, etc.) is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in retail shipping and receiving is highly desirable.
  • Handle hazardous materials according to established protocols.
